Thea Bowman HS Technology Fund

Hello, Friends and Family,
For the past nine years, I've taught science to students in urban, diverse, high-needs schools.  Often, school funds go toward providing my students with basic services that they may not be getting in their home environment.  Because of this, there are no dollars left over to put technology our classrooms.
We all know that when kids have access to technology, they are fully engaged!  I want my students at Thea Bowman Leadership Academy in Gary to have access to the classroom technology that students in other school districts may take for granted.
This campaign is set up to raise funds for an interactive electronic whiteboard for my classroom.  The uses for this device are too numerous to list here!  I recently saw a live demonstration of this device, and I couldn't believe the things that it can do.  I was nearly in tears thinking about how much my students would benefit from this.
I would be so grateful (and so would my students!) if you would help us obtain this technology for our classroom.
