Help me get Justin up to Philly for Retro Superplex Live!
I love podcasting, it has allowed me to connect with people in different parts of the US and even on multiple continents! It has allowed me to create awesome content with people I've not even met in person.
One of those is my friend Justin who I have been very lucky to have as a podcast partner for Retro Superplex. I'm in Philadelphia by way of the UK and he's in New Orleans so our show is an awesome combo of accents but is also a long-distance project. However there is an opportunity for us to record Retro Superplex LIVE as part of the 4th Philadelphia Podcast Fest on August 20th so this is why I am writing this today.
I have arranged two amazing guests from indie wrestling fed CHIKARA for the live show. We have the Master of Snake Style Ophidian and Argus the Master of Gekko-Roman Wrestling! The only missing part is my co-host Justin. Right now unfortunately we are a bit strapped for cash and neither of us can afford the flight to get him up here. We have never met in person but I'm hoping that with your help we can deliver the full Retro Superplex Experience (TM) by bringing this fantastic gentleman up to Philly.
So you're not just helping to make PODCAST MAGIC but also help two good friends finally meet.
