Paraclimbing World Championship!
Donation protected
My friends/teammates and I have recently been added onto the roster for the IFSC Paraclimbing World Championship! The competition is September 14-18th held in Paris!!!
Climbing means a lot for us- specifically because there are no disabilities or excuses when climbing. I know that climbing has improved quality of life for some, and helped with smaller functions for others. For me personally, I had some arthritis in my good hand and it bothered me daily to the point of seeing a hand specialist. Since climbing, my hand has strengthened and I haven't had any pain since. That is the TINY scale of how climbing has a positive impact.
On July 22nd in Kennesaw, Georgia I competed in the USA Adaptive National Climbing competition. I placed 2nd in my category for females with upper limb differences.

I'm excited to be able to have this amazing opportunity to go to Paris, France and fight for a spot on the podium and to represent the USA. Donations go to Brooklyn Boulders Foundation which is a sponsor of the Adaptive Climbing Group that I climb with.
My teammates and I appreciate any time, energy, monetary help, or awareness that you can spare.
