Parents suffering loss of baby

First time parents, Taylor McLain and Andrew Trahan gave birth to thier beautiful baby boy Gideon Rayne on July 26th 2016 and said thier final goodbye to him only a few hours after. Taylor had a healthy pregnancy with lots of excitement and plenty of happy planning for his arrival. Her baby shower was all set and ready for August 6th but sadly at 30 weeks along nothing could have prepared this family for what was about to happen. The evening of July 25th Taylor rushed to the hospital because she had not felt her little man kicking her or moving around. She went to North Oaks Hospital and they informed her that they could not find a heartbeat. Andrew and Taylor decided to go to St. Tammany Hospital to have her doctor check her in hopes that North Oaks were wrong. The truth was that Gideon was no longer with us and she would have to be induced to deliver him. Giving birth to her son  was to be the happiest experience of her life but turned into an indescribable experience. Taylor and Andrew unselfishly shared thier very short time with him with everyone around them.  He was perfect! Perfect in every way imaginable except he would only be held, kissed and touched for a mere 5 hours. There are no words to describe how thankful we are that she gave her only time with him to allow  us all to also spend time with him.  They will soon face stacking medical bills, loss of work and the hardships that follow laying a child to rest. Your donation will help give this family the support they need to have time to process, grieve, and attempt to heal after experiencing the worst event that could ever happen to a parent. It's unimaginable to most of us to even try and imagine what they must be going through. There is nothing that can be done to ease the pain that comes with such an unexpected tragedy. They will never stop loving, missing, and grieving for the loss of their son.
