Help These Angels Attend a National Cheerleading Competition
Pop Warner Angels, a team of co-ed cheerleaders with special needs ranging from physical to intellectual disabilities, is competing at Nationals this December. This team is much, much more than cheerleading-- involvement with the Angels means SOCIAL INCLUSION, FRIENDSHIP, PRIDE, HAPPINESS AND CONFIDENCE. These kids never stop smiling when they are together. Our team cheers at football games, competitions, and for many community causes in the Capital Region, New York.
Our goal is for our entire team to come to Nationals. Due to their support needs, most of the cheerleaders need an adult traveling companion. We are raising funds to cover the travel expenses of the cheerleaders, and their adult support. Your donation will fund 20 scholarships of up to $1,000 to defray the cost of flights, hotel and meals.
