Devastating Louisiana Flood

And my story is one of thousands in Louisiana going through this but wanted to share our family's little miracle that happened thanks to our amazing pit bull, Gracie....you see the original pic on here  was taken of my 3 bedroom home on 8/12/16 at 8:30 am(water to about shoulder length) we were sleeping soundly until the dog started barking at 6:30am. She would not stopped(praise GOD) She saved us, or we would have still been sleeping. We lost both vehicles and got about nine feet of water. Everything's gone and it happen so fast. One minute your sleeping in your bed, next minute you don't have anything to call your own.... Its shocking but also there is no were  I'm doing a go fund me because most my friends and family are out of state and wishing there's something they can do to help. I'm actually in shock still but resources are low and its so hard to get the assistance they have without your own ride! We lost everything and even just waiting until the programs will start helping me and my family need to get through it. This money helps us stay in hotels with Gracie, and i want to use it to get wheels and a place but basically its to benefit keeping my family together. Even my furry baby! Something simple.
