Curing Gynecological Cancer

Our family lost our beloved "Aunt" Sheryl on Saturday July 23rd, 2016 at the age of 62 to a devestating disease called Uterine Papillary Serous Carcinoma (UPSC). We have decided to start a foundation to fight this disease and other Gynecological Cancers.  Many Gynecological cancers are "silent killers" in that there is very little warning signs.  Often when women are diagnosed with these cancers they are already stage 3 or 4.  In addition, the funding for Uterine, Endometrial and Ovarian Cancer research pales in comparision to many other Cancers.  This foundation in honor of my sister, will provide donations to institutions like Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (a part of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine) to fight this disease and to find early detection methods .   We have already made a sizable family donation to the Uterine Serous Carcinonma Research Fund that is being sponsored by Sylvester.  This fund will invest in clinical trials, early detection and lab research.

We lost our Sheryl and our family  mourns deeply.  But it is simply not okay that our women are dying from these silent diseases.  We want to do something about that and prevent other womean from suffering.  We ask for your help to fight this and thank you with all of our hearts!
