For the children #4Corners

My name is Kerry Arabena  and I am the Chair for Indigenous Health at the University of Melbourne, an Indigenous woman and an ex-Territorian. I was deeply moved by  #4Corners and #qanda last night during which I was bore witness  to the torture of children.   I was particularly moved by the story of Dylan Voller, who sustained years of systemic abuse under the care of people who had guardianship responsibilities for him, and others who were placed in isolation in inhumane ways. I was also moved by the bravery of those who told their story, in order for it never to happen to another child.  I am an Australian who will not let this horror happen in my name.  I am pleased the Minister has been sacked, however, in the face of all that suffering,  I want for those young people to know that we care, we support them and we wish them well.  I hope these funds can go to support those young people access the best quality care and support they need. #JustJustice #WakeUpAustralia
