Jane's Tiny Traveling Tearoom
I've worked in the tea business for over 11 years and well over 10,000 hours. The knowledge and study of tea's sacred medicine has been a powerful calling in my life that I long to share with others.
I'm also a multifaceted, multitalented being in search of a sustainable and alternative way of living.
And so, I am building a tiny traveling tearoom! This tearoom will allow me to bring myself, my knowledge, my passion, and my medicine wherever I travel in the world. It will enable me to support myself as I finish graduate school, and will provide a platform for my other talents, such as tarot and astrology. I intend for this tiny traveling tearoom to be my forever home: my choice to create a sustainable lifestyle.
I have already begun. And even though I have been working very hard both in graduate school and at all my jobs, I need your help. The money rasied will be used for everything this traveling tearoom needs: walls, doors, windows, floors, counters, bathroom, insulation, paint, woodstove, roof, even solar panels and a composting toilet (to name a few)...(not even including the truck to pull it!)
My goal is to have the tiny house built and moved by September 23rd of this year! I have a great team of helpers, including my dearest friend and excellent builer, Jordan Gullikson. By supporting me today, you are supporting an amazing project that creates a message of peace and alternative living. It is a gift that will keep giving, into so many cups of tea and so many tea-giddy smiles!
Any amount, no matter how big or small, is helpful. If each of my friends on facebook contributed $20, the project would be done! In addition to monetary contribution, I am accepting windows, reclaimed wood, solar panels, and any building materials. Please contact me if you have any of these to offer!
I am so eternally grateful to my friends and family for support on this path. It means so much to me that you are choosing to believe in me. Each of us has so much to share, won't you help me to share what I have to offer? Every day I pour a cup of tea for you in thanks. And there will always be a cup of tea waiting for you in my new home.
May love, peace, beauty, and hope grace all your days. Thank you.
Calling all buildy peoples to come raise this thing up! I have only 8 days before I leave and only one wall done...plus 2 more grad school papers to write. If you can lend a hand and are handy, come on by...tea and snacks and smiles will be plentiful :)
