Hi! My name is Rellick Lorenzana. I was born on November 20, 2012 at 25-weeks gestation. I was 1 pound 12 ounces at birth and 1 pound 6 ounces at my lowest. I spent 114 days in the NICU, and let me tell you, that was a rollercoaster ride! I had PDA surgery, hernia surgery and contracted bacterial meningitis. The neonatologists gave me a 10% chance at life and look at me now! My mommy couldn't go back to work and stayed with me the whole time. She not only supported me, but also the other families in the NICU, as well as the NICU staff. I am on home oxygen, a pulse oximeter and have many specialists and doctors to see on a weekly basis. Because my mommy is such a rockstar, I am asking for help for her, because this whole situation is overwhelming and stressful. Thank you!
