Juanita's Cancer Fund

Hi my name is Gus Penaranda, I used Gofundme once before but was not very successful but none-the-less I will try again but this time it is for my mom.  On August 18, 2015 she woke up coughing up blood and after she was rushed to the ER, later that morning they advised us she had stage 4 lung cancer.  I have had a lot of trouble handling this news but I now have a better idea of what I need to do.  When you have cancer, everyday, every good day is special and you hope for many more but in order to best help yourself, you must understand and realize you have a hard battle.  My mom has given everything for her kids and as much as we do for her now, she has so much she wants to do but we are not able to make it happen fast enough.  She helped pay for my masters and has helped my sisters throughout the years and no one planned on this happening to her.  Basically we want to end her stress and cancel what is left of her bills that we could not cover, but more importantly she wants to travel, not all over the world but here in the US to see family in California, Niagra Falls, plus she wants to find a caregiver since she feels stressed when her children take days off of work for her appointments and tests.  I have found many of my friends have had a family member or themselves been through this illness, but as much as I know this request for my mom seems selfish, I can only say this woman sacrificed her life for her children and we just want to give her fun memories she did not have because she was helping us.  I will do everything I can to promote organizations and programs available to cancer patients through a site I am creating on her behalf and also show people how Gofund can help.  I do not know what this will do if anything, but you never know until you try.  Thank you
