Edmonton Cubs Heading to Calgary

Let me introduce you once again to the Sr. Little League Alberta Provincial Champions for 2017! The Edmonton Cubs had an excellent season and are now travelling to Calgary to compete in the Canadian Championship this week. It's the second year in a row this organization is going to attempt to win a National Championship, after 26 long years of trying!

To get this team the competition it needed to be so successful this season, a lot of travel was needed to play around the province and of course the costs added up. 

We are hoping to raise funds to help with our trip to Calgary where we have to pay for a week's worth of room and board for all the players and coaches, and then hopefully a trip to the World Series in Easley, South Carolina the following week. 

We are fortunate enough to have a talented team for the second year in a row, but for most of those young men it is a "once in a lifetime" experience. We of course want the memories they make to be about their athletic experience, and not about wondering if they can afford to be there. 

Any donations are greatly appreciated. Every dollar will go to an experience these players will hopefully cherish forever.  Go Cubs Go! Let's fly the W,  and bring home to Edmonton a National title!
