Drop Dead Fred Fund

My name is Amy Crouch and I am raising money for my sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Billy McEwin.
Vicki has recently undergone surgery to remove a tumor (a.k.a. Fred) that consumed her right lung and infiltrated her heart.  The surgery was high risk to say the least, but the reward, if sucessful, would be that she would finally be rid of Fred. 
This surgery was more complicated that the Dr. anticipated and as a result, she will need an additional surgery to remove her right lung.  She has been in ICU slowly recovering from the heart surgery for two weeks. The heart surgery  was a success and FRED is gone from her heart!
Now we move forward to the lung surgery, which will also required a stay in the ICU.  Her recovery will be long and she will be out of commission for a few months, maybe more.
I decided to start this fund raising page, because Vicki would do the same for anyone else in a similar position. If you know Vicki, she would be the first one at your lemonade stand buying a gallon or the last one at your bake sale, buying all your leftover goodies.
Vicki is generous and kind and despite surgery, has one of the biggest hearts out there.  Vicki and Billy have helped me out more times than I can count.  Vicki can fundraise like nobodys business and I only hope I can make her proud with my attempt.
I know many have donated before, but anything helps. The McEwins will need support during the recovery and my wish is that we can provide them with something to lessen the financial burden that long hospitalizations can bring.
