$100K TechPitch Contest in Poland!

Hi! My name is Jocelyn and I am a film maker and app developer living in Brooklyn NY. I have been developing a new TV series called MAN VS MONSTERS, and seek to make this program available on a mobile app interface, with really cool interactive features for our viewers as well as a multi-player video game based on our show concept.
I was recently invited to a technology conference in Warsaw, Poland in October of this year. This is a networking conference for tech innovators and entreprenuers, and would offer me the opportunity to connect with potential investors as well as compete in a pitch competition for $100,000 in startup capital for my company.
I'm hoping to be able to fundraise enough to cover the expenses for the trip and attendance for the conference as well as crucial marketing materials I would require as I make these valuble industry contacts. Ticket and accomodation costs will only rise moving closer to October, so ideally I would book my trip in early September.
Anything we can fundraise in excess of the expenses of the trip will be used to upgrade and market our exisiting product on iTunes in order to promote user aquisition. Strong metrics will only reinforce our presence at the convention and with potential business partners. Raising the money to do it on this platform sends the message that there are already people who believe in this project and that we can succeed together.
As a single, working class parent living in New York, I realize how participating in such an event can completely turn my life around. Not many people in my situation get opportunities like this, and the only reason I've come this far is the long years of hard work and dedication I have put into this project.
I see building this company as a unique opportunity to merge my passions and skill sets - media and technology, into a lucrative enterprise that will also create long term employment for the artists I work with, our production team, and other programmers and developers. It's an incredible, but very rewarding challenge, and one that I am prepared to embrace whole heartedly.
