I have opened this Gofundme page, to help me obtain a handicap acessable van, with hand controls and ramp. For my power chair to get me mobile.
In 1991 I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I had a blind spot occur in my right eye. I had a spinal tap and was diagnosed with MS. In 1994 I had a relapse I woke up and was perolised on my right side. I was treated with steroid infusions and everything returned to normal. In 1998 I had another relapse and the same outcome. Again I was treated with steroid infusions and everything returned. In 2005 I had a severe UTI and wound up in the hospital. I came out having to use a cane. In 2008 I fractured my tibula at that time I was forced into having to close my business.. After some rehab I went to using a walker. In 2015 I had another severe UTI spent time in the hospital and was sent to a rehab facility to regain my ability to use a walker. But in April of 2016 again I went to the hospital with a severe UTI, while in I had 2 heart stints inserted and was released to another rehab facility. This time I had to realize that a wheelchair was my outcome. I am currently home bound. I have a 1998 gmc jimmy with hand controls in which I can't put my wheelchair in. Due to my inability to balance and walk. It's to heavy for my wife. So it puts me unable to leave the house. I have had to put my pride aside and reach out for help .I am looking for a used handicap van with hand controls. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I would owe you a payment I could never repay. Thanks in advance and GOD bless to anyone who helps.
