Help with Expenses To Be With Hailey

Baby Hailey was born 3 months early at only 27 weeks 4 days gestational age weighing only 524 grams (just over one pound and the size of a small 24 weeker) due to a failing placenta that wasnt giving her enough blood, oxygen and nutrients. She is staying in the Foothills NICU in Calgary and unfortunately her parents  Stephanie and Tyler, live in Cranbrook BC which is 4 hours away from Hailey. We are just looking for any help to make travelling back and forth to be with Hailey less of a burden for her parents to be with her as this is already such a stressful time for them, and for Hailey. She is doing great, she is such a fighter and continues to amaze everyone around her. Hailey needs her mom and dad to be able to be with her as much as possible to hear their voices, have kangaroo care (skin to skin so she gets good bacteria from mom and dad, learns their smells and gets some calming cuddle time). These small things make a huge difference in how Hailey reacts to various treatments and how well she is in general, the effects are instant. It's truly amazing what the nicu can do for Hailey and we are so thankful for her to be in the best hands possible, but it is really hard to have to be 4 hours away from her. The biggest expenses are gas, and food as well as rent back home as Stephanie was on medical leave before Hailey was born and is now on maternity leave and Tyler was able to get days off to be with Hailey her first week. The burden of paying rent at home and also paying the monthly bill at the Ronald mc Donald house is becoming very difficult for them to pay along with all the other bills and expenses.
