Alan Handsman Road to Remission

Alan Handsman was diagnosed with Stage 3 Multiple Myeloma. He has beena Volunteer Fireman of the New City Fire Department as a Assistant Chief Engineer for 23 years. Alan has also participated for many years for The Ride For Kids, (Kids with Brain Cancer). Alan's wife Tara has Lupus which limits her abilities which comes easy to others. Tara has done Fundraisers for others and has always helped those in need. They have two school aged children. Alan had a stem cell transplant 3 months ago and will not know results until the end of this month. This is a terminal cancer and they are thankful for every day. Alan was a plumber by trade and can no longer work. The cancer has done irreversible damage to his spine. Social security disability finally kicked in. It is not enough to sustain a family of four. Medical bills have become overwhelming. I know and care for this wonderful family very much. Please donate whatever you can and keep them in your prayers
