Mattapan students to Berkshires

Greetings from our 8th grade homeroom, "Roxbury Community College!"
The college class of 2025 is off to an excellent start here at Brooke Mattapan, already rocking in our second full week of school!
To capitalize on this strong start, and to challenge our community of 29 young people to continue to develop their sense of teamwork, communication, accountability, and fun, we're heading out to the Berkshire Outdoor Center for a 2 day, 1 night adventure.
The money raised in our campaign will be used to pay for program fees (lodging, staff, on-site food) and transportation (busses taking us from Mattapan, to Becket, and back, including bagged lunches).
We have 3 weeks to raise our goal of $2,600 in order to make this trip happen, and need your help! This is the opportunity of a lifetime for many of our kids to get out of their comfort area, get into the woods, and get further in touch with themselves! Any contribution you are able to make will get us that much closer to setting the tone for a year of teaching and learning that will get our kids ready for high school, and to live the life they imagine afterwards.
I believe in these kids as much as I believe in anything in life... thank you for your consideration!
