My Dearest Mum's Funeral Fund

Hi! My name is Renie Gonzales-Groom, the son of the late Gloria Gonzales, whom I am actually asking some help for. She passed away last Monday at the age of 72 due to heart failure coupled with her chronic kidney disease. She was a dialysis patient at the Hull Royal Dialysis Unit for 4 fruitful years. As I got her here as my dependant, she was not entitled to any public funds when she was alive, hence she was not able to set aside money for savings. I, being a student does not help the situation to be better; especially now my partner has been unemployed because he was my mum’s full time carer and due to medical reasons alongside that - throat cancer operation in 2012 and a major brain surgery in 2015.
The money we intend to raise will be used to pay for her ginormous funeral bills, and if there are some left, we will be able to use them to cover expenses for her ashes to be transported back to Philippines as she wished to be reunited with her parents’ remains.
I am intending to use the funds in a way that I, as her lone family member in the UK, could give her a decent funeral here and a decent traditional burial in the Philippines as well.
This fund will not only help us ease the financial burden but will also somehow give us the peace of mind that she will go in peace as well.
I will be forever thankful to everyone who will be able to help us out during these times of crisis. I will forever be in debt. I am willing to keep this circle going by doing the same to people in the same situation when it is my turn to help.
