Help get Mark Home to family

Mark suffered a serious MS attack April 2015. This has left Mark unable to see and walk. He is now confined to a bespoke wheelchair. He now has daily spasms in his limbs and has wavering capacity. Mark is currently in a nursing home and has been there since December last year . Mark is in the process of having his care package completed, however his home is not ready for him and his new needs.
The local authority have made adaptions for Marks needs, although Mark and the family have incurred costs of overspends that was not accounted for when the local authority identified the needs that Mark would have. This has left a significant strain on the family’s finances and it is naturally impacting on further work that needs to be completed and paid for. The house needs new Windows, flooring, decorating. Tracy would also like to create a sensory garden for Mark. Mark is also in need of a rain cover for his wheelchair and a bag for his equipment, hygiene and medical needs so he can access outside and socialise.
This situation is affecting the families mental health and relationships.
Mark has been away from his family for 16 months while in hospital and waiting for alterations to his home to be completed. Mark has asked Tracy to "just take me home and leave me on the floor" as all he wants is to be back with his family where he belongs. Tracy was heartbroken that he asked this.
Tracy is dealing with managing finances, bringing up the girls and trying to change the housing situation as soon as possible to get Mark home. However, she is struggling financially, emotionally and needs equipment fitting professionally.
I have decided to set up this page for Tracy, Mark and the children as I can see how much strain this is putting on Tracy.
