Harry Davenport is a gorgeous, loving and beautiful little 6 year old boy who lives with disability.
His big brother Oliver, mum Emma, dad Andy and best friend bulldog Ranger are relying on the support of caring friends and networks to help with purchasing disability equipment and funding care for Harry so that he can experience the best possible quality of life.
Harry may never walk but right now he is working really hard to stand up on his own for a minute or two . To help him do this he needs ankle support braces to strengthen his feet and ankles. These cost around $ 2000 a pair.
It's also really important for Harry's development that he remains engaged in the world around him as much as possible so he doesn't withdraw. A critical part of this is being included in the activities that the children in his community can participate in. He currently attends an after school and vacation care program, who have bent over backwards to accommodate Harry's very special needs but as Harry has grown the demands on the centre have increased and now he needs very specialised care to support his continued inclusion at this amazing place.
We need your help to ensure that Harry does not lose touch with all his great mates as social contact is critical for his development.
Please help us raise the funds we need to help give Harry the best chance to reach his physical and intellectual potential.He has so much love to give and wants to be surrounded by his friends, not stuck on the sidelines.
