Hello, my name is Kasie Cavanaugh I have been in the industry for 20+ years and if you know me personally or maybe you have just heard the name. I am a very giving person and love to have fun in my session work, bodybuilding and acting career. I never ask for anything and always try to give more. For I have always believed it is better to give then receive. I have a passion for what I do; otherwise I never would have lasted for over 2 decades in this industry. Normally I am a very private person and reaching our here is totally out of character for me. A close caring client suggested me to reach out, so here it goes……
My travels have been limited this year due to
I have stomach virus that has put me in the hospital 3 times this year, the virus seems to come and go and the doctors can’t seem to diagnosis it properly. My most recent visit to the ER was on July 3rd; my 80 year old mother happened to be visiting from MN and spent most of her vacation time in the doctor’s office with me or at the hospital. My most recent visit to the ER over the 4th of July weekend, I was given a medication on June 30th which I was told it would make my nausea go away instead I had a total allergic reaction to the medication and it threw me into the ER. I had tightness of the jaw, couldn’t breath, slurred speech, and a drooping left side of the face, I was scared, “A big tough girl like me scared imagine that”; I actually thought I was having a stroke, though the ER doctor administrated medication through my IV and I was talking normal shortly there after wards. He mentioned that 1 out of 20 people have an allergic reaction to this medication, and I happen to be one of them.
I have had numerous tests done from ultra sound, to cat scans, blood, urine work, colonoscopy, endoscopy, etc. and the only diagnosis I can get is that I have a type of bacteria within; this is where germs can enter my body and live in my digestive tract. They can cause sores called ulcers in the lining of my stomach or the upper part of the small intestine, which has the possibility to lead to stomach cancer if not taken care of properly. Though I know in my heart there is more going on with me.
This is my 3rd visit to the hospital this year, plus numerous doctor visits.
It has put me in a bit of a hardship with a few past due mortgage payments and the medical bills. Being self employed has it’s benefits though when it comes to being sick, there is no “sick leave”; disability, etc.
I have never done this nor would I ever thought I would but I am going to reach out to you if you can help just a little bit so I can get back on my feet, for I am ready to go back to work and kick some butt! I miss ever body.
I am also open to anyone that would have knowledge of a doctor in the San Diego area that works with athletic women in a situation like this. I am looking to switch doctors. I need to switch doctors. Thank you for you time. Kasie
