Paula Hess is a beautiful vibrant young woman. She has a loving husband, Casey, and two little boys, Otto (10) and Nelson (8).
She was diagnosed with her primary breast cancer 8 years ago when she was 36 and pregnant with her second child. She went through surgery, chemotherapy and radiation and moved forward, hoping to be able to happily go on with her life with Casey and their two beautiful children, Otto and Nelson.
In 2012, she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in her liver. She has been fighting this battle ever since.
It is a difficult, painful and (yes) frighteningly expensive fight and every bit of help is deeply appreciated.
Paula and Casey are also supporters of METAvivor. METAvivor is dedicated to contributing 100% of funds raised to research towards understanding metastatic breast cancer research (not prevention, but rather finding solutions to significantly extend the lives of those with the disease.)
