Daniel & DyAnne's House Fire Aid
Hello, neighbors and friends,
Our neighbors on Poplar St. suffered a loss on Saturday the 9th when their house accidentally caught fire. They are safe and unharmed but when I last spoke with them they said the house is gutted and unlivable.
They graciously declined to request anything specific when I asked how we could best help them, but please put yourself in their shoes and consider what would help you the most after a home disaster such as this.
Even if you don't know Daniel and DyAnne personally, now is the perfect time to show them that their neighborhood sympathizes and supports them. Money from this fund will go to them for any damage costs they may have outside of insurance, for helping find a new place to live, for refurnishing their new home, for whatever they need in order to return to some semblance of their normal lives.
If you would rather help by donating physical goods such as gift cards, groceries, blankets, clothes, cat food/litter, etc., please contact me through this page and we'll arrange a drop-off location for all donated items. Even a hand-written note could be uplifting in this time!
