Scott/Holly Schwebke Cancer Fund

Scott and Holly Schwebke and their four daughters have been through a lot together as a family. Holly was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer on Nov 7, 2006. Holly had a lump removed and lymph nodes, followed by chemo and radiation. The treatments ended July 5, 2007. In April 2008 Scott had a seizure and was diagnosed with brain cancer. On May 8th, 2008 Scott had brain surgery to remove what they could. In June 2008 they went through a flood and lost everything in their basement. Friends and family raised a lot of money through a benefit they held that helped our family in so many ways. Both Scott and Holly continued their check ups throughout the years.
In 2010 Holly had a mammogram that showed spots too close to the chest wall to biopsy, so after much thought Holly choose to have a double mastectomy Holly also went through a hysterectomy in 2012.
In December 2015 Holly went to the ER for high blood pressure and was admitted to the hospital with high calcium levels and acute kidney failure. Holly was assigned a kidney specialist who did all the tests he could to figure out what was causing the high calcium levels and the kidney injury. The Dr. found out that the chemo Holly had caused the kidney damage and continued to do tests to figure high calcium levels out. On April 1st, 2016 Scott had his yearly check up and found out his brain cancer was back, wider and deeper. On April 13th,2016 Holly found out that the kidney specialist had done all the tests he could and now passed it to Holly's cancer Dr. So as they were trying to set up appointments for Scott's brain cancer, on April 20,2016 Holly had a pet scan done and on April 22, 2016 Holly is diagnosed with recurrence of breast cancer that is Stage 3 and more aggressive than the previous one. On May 5th, 2016 Scott had brain surgery to remove the cancer and then started chemo and radiation on June 9th an 10th. Scott will continue on chemo for 15 months. Holly had surgery on April 28th, 2016 to remove the cancer and started chemo on May 31, 2016. Holly will continue to have chemo every 3 weeks through Sept. 13th, 2016. She will have around a month off and then start 4-6wks of radiation followed by hormone therapy. Unfortunately with Holly's continued health problems w/ high calcium and high creatinine levels and the 3 different chemo's she receives, she spends a lot of time at the cancer center and in the hospital getting iv's for numerous levels being off and ending up needing and getting two blood transfusions.
As anyone who has gone through things like this knows how hard it can be to ask for help financially...both Scott and Holly have been off of work since this started in April 2016 and still have a long road ahead of them. Scott and Holly need help with living expensives, every day necessities-food, gas, monthly bills, medical bills, and medication. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your help.
