Stem Cell Therapy for HerBrena G.
I am reaching out to you because I need your help. My name is Melanie Johnson a Private Sitter/CNA. Im using Herbrena's Facebook profile to reach as many of her friends as possible. Our friend, Herbrena Gordon-Godfrey has Multiple Sclerosis. Herbrena is one of the most genuine, fun loving, compassionate giving people I know. Recently her health began to deteriate and she has been unable to be as active and generous and of herself as she would like.
Herbrena uses a cane, walker, wheelchair and scooter. She is very independent and will not often ask for help. Lately she has struggled with her whole left side being weak, she has trouble using her hand to groom herself, write and even feed herslf, short term memory loss, bladder weakness, vision problems and constant chest and back pains.
Herbrena has been on several MS therapies like Rebif,Copaxone,LDN, Techfidera and now Rituxan. She even has an internal baclofen pump for pain and spasticity. To see her you would never guess. To watch her do for others is so heart warming. For yrs. Herbrena has been trying to save for Stem Cell Therapy but her insurance bill alone is extreme; $550.00 a month not counting medication bills and cost of living. There is no medical coverage for Stem Cell Therapy for MS and the cost for Herbrena is $10,000. She has saved and made her down payment of $1040.00 and is scheduled for Stem Cell Therapy really soon. Upon my research on these procedures, I truly believe and pray it will provide a better quality of life for her. Believe it or not she is already speaking of paying it forward and paying the down payment for someone else upon her procedures success.
She is a single mom of a 15 yr old son.
She is a youth mentor, health advocate, motivational speaker,
worship leader, community advocate an Eastern Star and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, entrepreneur and very active in spite of! She is a constant giver that refuses to ask for help. Please help me to help a giver and lover of all.
