Our Adoption Journey

We are Mark and Andrea Lee. Ever since we have known each other, we always dreamed of adopting a child into our family. Not only is it a beautiful picture of how God accepts us into His family, but our heart breaks every time we think of a child who has to grow up without anyone to protect them or provide unconditional love. We are pleased to announce that we have accepted a match with a child in South Korea through Holt International. We will be giving him the American name Judah. He will be about 1 1/2 when we bring him home. Within the next couple of months, we will be traveling twice to Seoul to meet him, visit with the Korean courts, and then to bring him home.

International adoption has many advantages, but one challenge is the financial cost. The adoption in total will be close to $40,000. While we have already paid most of the costs, we are now in need of raising the final $10,000. This will go towards the remainder of the fees plus our travel expenses for two trips. We have always believed that where God guides, He provides and we believe that this situation is no different. Please prayerfully consider supporting us financially. I'm sorry to say the donation is not tax deductible, but it may be just put another jewel in your crown in heaven. We may not be able to save the whole world, but we can save just one.
