Help Melanie get a Credential!

My name Melanie McLaughlin and I am currently enrolled to attend Cal State Channel Islands in the fall to receive my California Teaching Credential. I graduated from BIOLA in the Fall of 2014 where I received my degree in English with an emphasis in Education. While attending BIOLA I was pursuing my teaching credential to teach Secondary Education, but due to testing delays that was not able to be completed. I returned home in January of 2015 where I began substitute teaching in Oxnard, CA.  Being a teacher has been a dream since I was a little girl and this experience provided clarity that teaching is where I am being led; however, I have realized that I am meant to be in Elementary rather than Secondary which led me to apply at Channel Islands.
I was accepted into the Credential Program this past Spring and have completed and passed all my state testing. I applied with the intention and hope of receiving Financial Aid due to the fact that I can file as an independent and that my  first semester will cost $5,000. I recentely received word from the school that I do not qualify for any Financial Aid. I am already in a large amount of debt due to my student loans from my undergrad at BIOLA, which has made getting more loans  no longer an option. 
Though this is difficult, I am reaching out to friends and family and asking for your help so I can pay for my first semester and pursue my dream career. Any donations are greatly appreciated, and prayers are greatly needed as well as I continue through this process.
