Rick Matlock Memorial Fund

My name is Amy Beasley, Gina Matlock is my sister. Rick Matlock has been my brother in law for almost 38 years. The Matlock family has suffered the greatest loss of their lives. Rick drowned on August 18, 2018 at New Melones reservoir. The center of their world was taken from them, way too soon. We are all devastated, in disbelief, and want to wake up from this horrible dream. At this time we are asking for you to cover them in prayer daily, and if you are able, donate towards costly funeral expenses. Any amount is greatly appreciated. If you knew Rick, you know that he was always there to help someone in need. We would love, to now, return that favor and bless his family in the time of this tragedy. UPDATE: After vigorous search efforts by the sheriff's department and others brought in by the family, his body was not recovered. A fisherman found Rick in the lake, near the dam on September 3, 2018. A positive ID has not been made yet. We believe that it is Rick because he was found very close to the location of where he went into the water. Please continue praying that a positive ID will be made and his family can finally lay him to rest. Thank you.
