Roxanne's Fight

On April 6th 2017, Roxanne was heartbreakingly diagnosed with 2 types of breast cancers. At age 48, this disease was a terrible shock to family and friends.

Roxanne and her husband Denis are very loved locals of Rockland, Ontario. She is the mother and stepmother of 4 young men. Roxanne is a life loving and strong woman. She has a deep passion for her family, friends and pretty much everything and everyone around her.

Therefore, it is no surprise that she is surrounded by the biggest love and support throughout this journey, which we know she will beat!

On May 26th, Roxanne will have surgery to have her right breast removed due to 1 rare and 1 aggressive type of cancer.  After her surgery, she will have to get chemo therapy, radiation and be monitored by lots of specialists for many months.

Several months after, Roxanne will need another surgery for the reconstruction of her breast.

Driven by her high moral and strength, Roxanne knows about the challenges she will have to face.

She is the sole owner of a hair salon in Bourget and will have to close her business completely for several months.

This Go Fund Me page is being set up by her niece and sister-in-law in order to help with not only so many costs associated with her fight, but most importantly to let her rest and give her a peace of mind throughout her journey.

Le 6 avril 2017, Roxanne a étonnement été diagnostiqué avec 2 types de cancer du sein. À l'âge de 48 ans, cette maladie a été un terrible choc pour la famille et les amis.

Roxanne et son mari Denis sont des gens très aimés de Rockland, en Ontario. Elle est une mère et belle-mère de 4 jeunes hommes. Roxanne est une femme vivante et forte. Elle a une profonde passion pour sa famille, ses amis et à peu près tout le monde autour d'elle. Par conséquent, il n'est pas surprenant qu'elle soit entourée du plus grand amour et soutien pendant ce voyage, que nous savons qu'elle saura vaincre!

Le 26 mai, Roxanne subit une intervention chirurgicale pour retirer son sein droit en raison d'un cancer rare et aussi d'un type agressif de cancer. Après sa chirurgie, elle devra subir une thérapie chimiothérapie, des radiations et être surveillée par de nombreux spécialistes pendant de nombreux mois.

Plusieurs mois après, Roxanne aura besoin d'une autre opération pour la reconstruction de sa poitrine. Conduite par son bon moral et sa force, Roxanne connaît les défis auxquels elle devra faire face.

Elle est uniquement le propriétaire d'un salon de coiffure situe à Bourget et devra fermer son entreprise complètement pendant plusieurs mois.

Cette page Go Fund Me est mise en place par sa nièce et sa belle-soeur afin d'aider non seulement tant de coûts associés à son combat, mais surtout de la laisser se reposer pleinement et aussi de lui donner une tranquillité tout au long de son voyage.
