15 years ago Mission of Hope started. Hundreds of people in need of 2nd chances were met in the middle of their crisis and needs were filled. Emergency shelter, emergency food, emergency clothes - all were filled.
Now MOH has grown to four locations and we need to refresh our look - some cleaning, some paint, some new carpet, some fixing. We are also using the month of July to retool our programs - "more giving a Hand-Up instead of just a hand-out", says Director Joe Polzin.
We'll buy the paint, the cleaning supplies, the new carpet - and drywall too! And hundreds from the community (including those we serve) will roll up their sleeves!
