March for Science — South Bend
Date: April 22, 2017

The March for Science — South Bend is part of an international movement, uniting with well over 400 other March for Science events worldwide to celebrate scientific progress, increase awareness of the impact of science on the common good, and advocate for policy that will continue to advance our better understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

This assembly is a diverse, nonpartisan call for the support of science in the interest of the common good, and for policymakers to enact evidence-based policies that are in the public's interest.

The event begins at Howard Park in South Bend at 2 pm, the march route taking us to Morris Park in downtown South Bend for the event program which begins at 3 pm.

We are raising funds for the costs of the march:
- Bullhorn Rentals
- Tables
-  Buttons and printing
- Liability Insurance
- T-shirt printing

If you are interested in volunteering at the march, you can sign up here.

Any amount we raise over our expenses will be donated to the Indiana Science Communication and Education Foundation .
