Rochelle Pimental is a kind, loving and passionate 35 year old mother of 3 children, who just graduated from nursing school as a Registered Nurse this past spring. Rochelles world was turned upside down On August 22, 2016. Rochelle was admitted to straub hospital on the island of Oahu, with a diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She will undergo an intense and aggressive 4 week treatment beginning August 25, 2016. That means she will be out of work for that long and her husband Steven will be left to care for their children... I am hoping that whoever is reading this will feel the need to donate any amount of money they can so that Rochelle can endure her treatment without the burden of having to worry about financial strains... Rochelle will not give up and she is willing to fight this tooth and nail. Your donations will enable Rochelle to get the proper treatment that she may need and ensure her children have what they need as she goes through the next few weeks... Prayers are definitely welcome for Rochelles recovery. Mahalo in advance for any and all donations.

Hi everyone, today is October 23rd just wanted to give another little update. It has been a while since I have a update.
I am so happy and grateful to be home on Kauai and spending every minute I can with my family and friends. I continue to do weekly follow appointments with my oncologist and lab draws to monitor my levels. Everyday I feel like I am get stronger. I completed my 6 month from transplant bone marrow biopsy on October 13th and got my results today. I am so blessed to say it was CLEAR of AML!!!

This has been a long and tough journey and I can't imagine going through this with out the support, love and day to day care of my husband that took a leave of 6 months to take care of me day in and day out. He has been by my side at the worse moments and continued to stick by me. I Love you more than words and I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart.
I want to also thank the Lord for all his blessings through this journey. As he continues to bless me I treasure every blessing and day that comes.
Please continue to send prayers that these test remain clear of disease. I appreciate all of your love, support and prayers through this journey. I love u all from the bottom of my heart!!!!
Again thank u for all ur love and support.
Love always Ro and family.

We arrived back home on July 23rd and couldn't be more happy to be back here with our children, family and friends.

I will need to continue weekly follow ups and labs to watch my blood counts but I'm getting stronger everyday. From the last bone marrow result I'm 100% donor graphed and 85% blood type switched.
