Stephanie & Kyle recovery fund!
We are Anthony and Megan Micale, brother and sister in law of Kyle Radler and Stephanie Maselli. Us, along with Kyle and Stephanie's immediately familes are asking for help to pay for life's expenses while Kyle and Stephanie are recovering from a motorcyle accident which left them both badly injured in the hospital.
On June 30th, Kyle and Stephanie were ran off the road by a vehicle on Island Road in Cicero, NY. While rounding a blind turn, a dark colored, 4 door car was driving into their lane. Fortunely, Kyle was able to swerve out of the way and avoid a head on collision, which surely saved their lives. The driver of the dark colored, four doored car never stopped or cared to find out if they were ok. However, the motorcycle accident has left both Kyle in intensive care with multiple broken bones, a collapsed lung and a bad case of road rash. Doctor's are still not sure the extent of Kyle's injuries and are discovering new ones each day. Kyle has multiple serious injuries which will most likely take up to a year to recover, if not more. Stephanie badly injured her leg and has undergone surgery. She also is suffering with a bad case of road rash resulting in injuries to her head, face and most of her body. These injuries will take up to 6 months for to recover and no one is sure exactly when she will be able to go back to work.
As most of you know, Stephanie and Kyle just purchased their first home together. With a lengthy recovery time, doctor's bills and being out of work, they are going need our help!!! This will help to put their mind at ease and lessen the stress of the finanical burderning.
Kyle and Stephanie are LOVED by so many of us! Let's let them heal in peace and be thankful everyday they are still here with us!!
If anyone has any information on this dark colored, four door car driving down Island Road in Cicero, NY at 7:50 PM on the evening of Thursday June 30th, please contact the Cicero police department. 315-699-3677
Thought I'd give you all a HUGE thanks for all of your donations!!! Steph and Kyle appreciate it with all of their hearts and it helps keeping the positivity UP throughout their recovery process!

Ok, now for the update:
Kyle, unfortunely, has been having a difficult journey with his recovery process. Since leaving the hospital, along with his many follow up appointments, he has had two trips back to Upstate ER, a few unplanned trips to his primary doctor and as of last night has been admitted into St. Joe's hospital.
All of this has been due to pains in his stomach area (don't want to give too much personal information away) but I'm sure you all can figure out what corresponds with aches and pains of the stomach and digestive system. Anyway, at first they thought it was due to obstructions and slowing down of the digestive system due to the pain meds. So, they took him off any pain medication. Along with his stomach problems, he has been having to recover and do physical therapy without pain medication, which I'm sure has been extremely painful due to his broken bones and fractures. It's been over 10 days without pain meds, NUMEROUS CT scans, xrays, IVs, hospital stays, barely anything to eat and just when it seems the problem MIGHT be resolved, the cycle begins all over again. Instead of going back to Upstate, his primary doctor admitted him into St. Joe's last night. We will let you all know any new updates as the day goes on. Please keep Kyle in your prayers for some answers as to what is going on! And for a safe and full recovery!!!
Stephanie is doing amazing!! Minus this emotional roller coaster she is on trying to figure out what is going on with Kyle. Her leg looks great! She attends physical therapy twice a week and is still using crutches. Her face is healing SO WELL! It looks like she never has a fracture or road rash and is looking more beautiful than ever :) She's been putting her all into helping Kyle recover.
Please say a prayer for both of them today. It's been almost a month and these hospital stays can get very old, VERY quickly... :(
Love you all!
