Peconic Clean Wetlands
Donation protected
Good Day! I'm reaching out to ask for your support for the "Peconic Clean" campaign as part of Jumpstart and East End Arts program and event celebrated on AUGUST 11th, from 5pm and 9pm.
I propose to create a Environmental Fused Glass Sculpture Installation that will float on the pond of downtown Riverhead at Grangebel Park.
What can we do to make our wetlands clean?
The premise is to inspire the public to think about the wetlands: ponds, rivers, bays and open water, as well as the sea life that lives in it. The round glass fusing pieces represent the conflict of the nitrogen, phosphorus and pollution in the water. All of these irritants are a major concern in our water on Long Island.
Hope you can attend our event. There will be ART, Music, Dance and lots of FUN! Peconic Estuary Outreach information will be there too!
Thank you!

Small contributions, $5, $10, $20 are popular.
Any amount appreciated.
