Gliders qualified Jr Olympics-Texas

June 23-26 our Central Florida Gliders track and field team competed in the AAU Regional meet in Minneola Fl and 23 of our athletes qualified for the Jr. Olympics Games in Houston TX! We appreciate any and all donations as these athletes have worked very hard and all donations will go towards travel expenses and stay. Jr. Olympics are in Houston Texas July 30-Aug 6th and we are in hopes that all of our 23 athletes will be able to attend!
The Central Florida Gliders is a youth track & field, and cross country club serving boys and girls in Seminole and Orange Counties, and throughout the state of Florida. Founded in 1989 by Craig Wise, the Gliders and Gliders’ alumni have achieved success in local, state, national, and international competition.
The purpose of the Central Florida Gliders is to motivate the athlete to aspire to achieve leadership, discipline and integrity through the sport of track and field and cross country. The individual who makes the attempt is as much a part of the group as he or she who may attain the highest level of achievement. No one rides the bench!The Club is a self-governing, self-supporting organization certified in the state of Florida as a non-profit corporation and exempt from Federal Income Tax since it is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible.
The club is run by volunteer coaches, assistants and parents. Corporate and individual donations, grants and sponsorships are key to our success and are greatly appreciated.
