Thank you for clicking on this. We have hit a huge bump in the road, as we all do from time to time. Over the past few months we've watched our savings for a house dwindle away as the next financial crisis hit. And little by little we started falling deeper into a repetitive cycle.
Now our second vehicle, the better of the two has stopped working and needs a new (or used) transmission. We've been trying to make the one car work, but with the three kids in different activities, working two jobs and well, you know life... We're drowning. There's no way to afford a repair like this, as our savings is completely gone, and we're unfortunately in debt to the bank.
Today I am not asking for any hand outs, but instead a helping hand. My birthday was a couple days ago, and Stephen's is in a few weeks. Maybe instead of a birthday gift you could help fund our repair for our car. That in itself would be the most helpful and wondrous gift. But asking for a helping hand is difficult. As we understand that money is tight all around. And that is why I made a Go Fund Me account. Even a few dollars will add up and help. To get a used transmission and install it, it will cost $1500.00. So any money raised will go to fixing our vehicle.
Lastly, we want to thank you and show you how appreciative we are. So, if you donate $50.00 or more, I will paint you a beautiful 8x10 painting and send it to you! If you donate $100.00 or more (which oh my gosh, I'd also track you down and hug you times a million!) We'll make a personalized video just for you, as well as send a painting! Annnnd if for some crazy, wondrous, how in the world can this be happening, awesomeness you happen to send $150 or more, we will do all those things (hugs still included) and a framed family photo expressing our thanks!
