I never thought I would be one of those people that needed to ask for help- so I am writing this from a very humbling place in my heart...
I am a wife and a mother to 3 amazing kids(2 boys, and my little girl). My husband and I have never had it particularly easy, especially in the financial department. However, we have lived in our first ever rental home for the past 6 years! When I first got those keys- it was a big step for me. Being able to put a roof over my kids head... nothing compares.
The start of this year brought many hopes of being able to get a loan and purchase our first home. However, the loan companies we dealt with were not as truthful as they seemed to be. After being promised loans if we paid things off from our credit we were denied because at the end of the day we didn't bring home enough Net profit. This was AFTER we had spent all of our savings, and our income taxes for the year on this. Devastated, we found ourselves in yet another horrible situation...
Our rental was being SOLD. Between all of the confusion of new owners and such, we were told not to continue paying for the rental(as were the two other houses next to us that were also bought) until they had sorted it all out. Fearing that we would lose the house, we began looking for an income based apartment in the area. We have found one, but now comes the worse news(as if it could get worse?) Because of not paying for this one, the apartment will not take us! So, in order to have any place to live we have to now pay the past rent on this rental AND the (increased) security deposit and first months rent for the apartment.
This is the ONLY option we have. We have sold my husbands car in order to have a little to put toward it, and are looking to try and sell some other things. But, having recieved a "Pay or Vacate" notice now it is out of our hands. I am literally BEGGING you, my friends, family, kind hearted strangers- please help me in providing a roof over my childrens head. Nothing is too small and if need be, we can pay you back for your contribution just let me know!
If we can get the funds, we will be able to move in July 1st- which will be our daughters very FIRST Birthday. Please help me make it one we can remember for good reasons.
