Alex's World Class Academy Tuition

Hi, my name is Alex McGourty. I am a whitewater kayaker from Sligo, Ireland. I am a member of Sligo Kayak Club and have been kayaking for 6 years.
I have been awarded a scholarship into the World Class Kayak Academy, in Washington USA for 2016/2017. The World Class Kayak Academy is a travelling highschool that will give you the chance to get an education and also to kayak some of the best rivers in the world to become a highly trained whitewater kayaker. I am looking for donations to cover the remainder of the tuition and my travel costs.
The World Class Kayak Academy will be kayaking in Ottowa and British Columbia Canada, Nepal, Ecuador and the West Coast of America and all funds will go towards travel costs involved in travelling to these destinations.
The World Class Kayak Academy will be starting in Ottowa on the 28th of August 2016.
I am currently organizing a sponsored paddle that will start in Dublin and finish in Lough Key,Boyle Co.Roscommon to raise funds. The paddle will cover 195 km. and take 3 days approximitely to complete.
Since I was young it has also been a dream to attend the Academy to gain experience and reach the level of other paddlers who have attended the college.
I feel that World Class Kayak Academy would bring me to my next level in kayaking. We do not have rivers in Ireland that are flowing for long enough. Rivers usually flow for around 3 months or less of the year. I have been a Level 4 since I was 16 (one of the youngest to achieve this in Ireland).
Every donation would help my dream to become a World Class Kayaker and all funds will be greatly appreciated to help my dream become a reality.
It doesn't matter how small the donation is, every bit makes a difference and I will be very thankful for any help.
