Friends of Dina Jellen Theissen

Dear Friends of Dina,

Dina has been battling a rare form of cancer.  Here is a brief description of the cancer and her treatment just to give you an idea of what our friend has been facing:

"Ovarian Cancer (Clear Cell Carcinoma). Surgery was February 2016. Began first of 6 chemos in March 2016. Treatments are very high dose and spaced out every 3 weeks. I have completed 5. Due to the deterioration on my body we may not be able to do the last one. I am waiting to see if I will need surgery for this blockage. I have not met with the surgeon yet. I have a surgery set to remove the healthy ovary on October 11th, 2016 due to the pathology report coming back as Clear Cell Carcinoma. It is rare, aggressive, and tends to recur so it needs to come out as my body heals from chemo damage."

The obvious physical and emotional stress must be beyond words.  Add to that, the financial strain and dealing with insurance must be overwhelming. It's time to help.
