Kenny & Tina Knaps-Louisiana Flood

Donation protected
My name is Charmaine Drinnon; I am originally from Louisiana.   Please help my brother, Kenny Knaps, his wife Tina, and their daughers Ashley and Rachael. On August 14 water flooded both their home and their source of livelihood.

After he volunteered for the National Guard in 1983 to pay for college, Kenny was deployed to Iraq during Desert Storm.  After the September 11 terrorist attacks, he did a one year tour in Afghanastan; he was also  called to duty  to help search and rescue survivors, and to help with the clean up and rebuilding efforts in New Orleans and surrounding areas in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Now Kenny and his family need your help.    In late 2007  they opened an Anytime Fitness gym in Walker, Louisiana.  Located in Livingston Parish, the area hit hardest by the flood, the gym had nearly 3 feet of water. Their home had 8 inches of water.  While they clean-up and begin to rebuild, they have lost their source of income.  With 75% of their client base suffering similar losses, their source of income from the gym is $0.

It would mean a lot to me to help my brother and his family who have given so much of themselves to serve the country and their community.

Thank you for time and your donation.
