Love for Lisa Stroup
This is a quick, critical fundraiser that we need to reach by August 30th.
Hooray! Lisa's uninvited guest, a breast cancer tumor she has named Penelope, has recently been relocated to new non-Lisa living quarters. Unfortunately, Penelope was a messy house guest, and more cleanup was - and will be - needed after her eviction. Say it with me, “F@CK PENELOPE!”
Even though Lisa was laid off a few months ago, she was determined to find a new job and remain self sufficient through the initial cancer diagnosis in late June and Penelope's removal in mid July. With the updated diagnosis, however, this is no longer an attainable goal. It's time for us to help, and it's critical.
Because Lisa’s treatment will now involve 16 weeks total of radiation and also chemotherapy, this fundraiser is to help provide for her immediate living needs. Lisa’s positive attitude is inspiring, and it’s going to take lots of love and care to help her through this next stage of cancer eviction.
The money from this GoFundMe campaign will be used on September 1st and over the following weeks for:
Rent
Utilities
Car insurance and gas
Food
Basic household and personal supplies
Distractions, like movies or music events
We’ll be out and about this weekend at Capsul on Saturday night (8/18) and the Park Party on Sunday at White Rock (8/19)
