WGS After School Enrichment

www.westgeorgiastar.org  West Georgia Star is the  resdient service arm of the LaGrange Housing Authroity. We offer an after school enrichment program for students ages 5-18. The program focuses on K-12 school readiness and incorporating technology into the classroom. The program is staffed with certified teachers with an extensive background in education. The program runs Monday – Thursday from 3pm-6pm for students ages 5 – 12. Children ages 13 – 18 participate in our Youth Leadership Program which runs Tuesday – Thursday from 4pm-7pm, and on occasional Mondays from 4 -7pm. The Youth Leadership Platform focuses on college preparedness, adolescent growth and leadership skills.

We are trying to raise these funds to help aid our kids after they get out of school over the course of the 2016-2017 school year. By helping us raise these funds, this will help our kids get an additional meal outside of school that they might not get at home. Also your donations will help fund afterschool  learning activities to help assist school teachers to improve and keep scores above grade level.
