Unexpected medical stay in PA
Donation protected
What began as a fun filled vacation has turned into a nightmare. My husband, Edward Cagle, had a lawn mower accident before we left, but was cleared for travel. The first 4 days, he was great, then the problems started.
He became short of breath on Thursday morning, and by Friday afternoon, he was gasping for breath. We took him to a local hospital, where they diagnosed him with 2 broken ribs and double pneumonia. They admitted him and put him on oxygen to monitor him.
Saturday, his oxygen level was not coming up, so they increased it to 10 liters. By Sunday morning, he was worse and had to be put on a venilator.
According to the doctor this morning, he will be on the venilator till at least Thursday, then possibly in the hospital for another week.
The hospital is not affilated with any hotel for a discount, so it is going to be a little hard on my pocketbook to be able to stay here with him.
If you can't contribute, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers for a complete and quick healing. Thank you. You can see the diffetence 2 days made.
