Erica's Olympic Trial Fund

Erica Richardson qualified for the 2016 Olympic Trials  in the 3000m Steeplechase.  She is currently ranked 17th in the nation and continues training for the chance to possibly make the Rio Olympics!

With a lack of racing opportunities in Idaho, Erica has already traveled to California, Oregon and even British Columbia in her bid for the qualifying standard.  Each trip requires airfare (often booked last minute at a higher rate), hotels, rental cars, etc.  The same is true for the Olymic Trials- with a hotel stay of up to 5 nights if she makes it to the finals.  This fund will allow her to focus on racing and training, rather than complicating her travel by looking for the best deals.  The stress of money is one thing I don't want her to worry about in the next two weeks.

Erica's team isn't flush with travel funds the way that some clubs are, so this is our contribution to her efforts; and a away to celebrate an athlete that works so hard while balancing the demands of two young children, assistant coaching at the high school, and her own running goals and career.
