Fresh start

At the beginning of the year, my depression and anxiety was becoming unmanageable due to work pressures.

Things came crumbling down at the end of March when I became homeless, my long term partner left me, and I ultimately was fired from my job as a result of my illness. We also had a sudden death in the family at the same time. All this happened within 2 weeks.

Needless to say, I have been very ill. I currently live in a caravan with my 2 Persians, in the middle of nowhere and fair distance from family & friends (I chose my current location to be near to my partner who split with me the following week). I am still looking for work, but without much success as there are not many opportunities in the area.

My 'home'

This is where this page comes in. I am at a complete loss as to what to do, and my situation isn't helping my condition. I have an opportunity to move to Stockholm where a friend I have known for almost 20 years lives.

It would be a completely new start for me, and now seems a good time to go for it. 

I am already applying for jobs out there, but the fact I am in the UK is likely to cause problems for and interviews that may come up.

I've worked out my target based on travelling to Stockholm, with my cats (who will both require passports - unfortunately we do not live in a catchment area for help with vets bills), and daily living expenses, including travel, rent and food for 3 months, although I am hoping I will be able to find work within this time.

Anything raised over target will be donated to the charity Sane, who have helped me through one of the worst periods of my depression since I was diagnosed 13 years ago. The same goes for any money left after I find work.

I'd also be grateful for any information about Jobs.  I have 7 years web/graphic design experience, I ran my own business selling vintage clothing, and have bar & retail experience.
