Help Save baby Emina's Life
Donation protected
Dear all,
This story is about my niece, little girl called Emina
In january this year our long awaited, my niece Emina was born. Recently she became five months old, but the last three months we are fighting for her life. She was diagnosed Biliary Atresia, which is a rare disease that occurs in one of 20 000 births, and the causes for it are still not identified. In Moscow doctors confirmed Biliary Atresia, and made urgent surgery Kasai, that could help to save her liver. Unfortunately, the effect of this surgery lasted only for two months, and for the last month, bile is not going out her liver, damaging it and bringing cirrhosis.
The only way to save her life is liver transplantology. Her father and mother have passed checks for compatibility. Unfortunately, her dad cannot be a donor due to health conditions, but her mother has different blood group with little Emina. Due to the specific liver structureher mother and difference in blood groups not all liver transplantology centers can help us. After a long search for experienced hospital, we have approached Saint Luc hospital in Belgium, who has analyzed our dossier and accepted us for transplantology. The estimated bill for surgery is 107.500 Euro, plus two post operative biopsy on 6 and 12 months 5 800 euro and prograf for 5000 euro, in total 118 300 EURO.
