Walking the Two Moors Way - A Sponsorship Challenge contributing towards my Amazon Expedition: Let me first introduce myself. I'm Tom, a keen scout who is planning to embark on a British exploring society expedition to the Peruvian Amazon basin. This is primarily a 5-week research project with other teams of scientists, geographers and adventurer's measuring biodiversity and mapping water systems. This expedition is the first of it's kind to send a group of UK scouts into the remote Peruvian basin, hopefully obtaining invaluable information to take back home. On April the 13th -14, I've decided to walk the whole length of the two moors way as part of fundraising efforts to travel to Peru in 2020.
About the Challenge:
The Two Moors Way is a 102-mile route spanning the boundaries of Dartmoor and Exmoor. My goal is to finish the trek within 48hrs If all goes to plan (weather provided). This would be the biggest challenge I've ever attempted, and any sponsorship or advice would be warmly appreciated to help me achieve this goal. I'm very thankful to all of you who have supported me thus far along the way and I'm around 3/5ths into raising the £5000 required and so this should provide me with the final push for completing the financial challenge.
