The Provision Project in Lyndsie's Memory
This organization gave Lyndsie tremendous emotions support and she believed in them passionately.
Lyndsie started the experimental drugs last Monday and will return to Houston the next 3 Mondays for monitoring. Then she will go once a month. After 2 months new scans will be done to determine her progress on the drugs. The drugs are causing gastrointestinal destress and nausea. Pray she will be able to eat with comfort.
We had a beautiful and special Thanksgiving. While Lyndsie tired often she was able to enjoy herself in the times she felt ok. We did a photo shoot on that Saturday and she felt strong enough to put on makeup and a wig. She was happy and beautiful. As soon as those photos become available I will post them. In the meantime this picture is Andrew, Lyndsie and Emma in the Kitchen as we all began filling our plates and eating ourselves into a "food comma". While Lyndsie couldn't eat that much the rest of us made up for it As always Thank you for the continued support Emotionally, Physically, Spiritually and Financially. This battle would be so much more challenging without your loving and caring hearts.
This is the season we are reminded to be grateful.
It has been a flurry of ups and downs the past few weeks, and I had found it difficult to write a new update. However with Thanksgiving on the horizon it was necessary for me to find the words.
It looks like hopefully Lyndsie will finally get on the drugs this coming Monday.
After the washout from the Whole Brain Radiation, Lyndsie has had to do a battery of tests the last two visits. And she will have a biopsy done on one of the infected Lymp Nodes this Monday the 28th. The delay for the drugs has been due to all the tests required for the Clinical Trial, as well as waiting on the Radiologist to determine which Lymp Node to biopsy.
Our Family sends wishes of Joy and Peace to each of you this Holiday Season with a deeply grateful heart how blessed Andrew and Lyndsie are by all the wonderful loving support. Have a beautiful and blessed Thanksgiving.
What a beautiful picture and yes I see those smiles getting bigger in the days ahead as God blesses and heals Lyndsie. Thank you Jesus!
