Lyndsie has been fighting Breast Cancer for a year. It resurfaced in May and has been diagnosed as stage 4 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She is currently receiving chemotherapy treatments to slow down the growth of the cancer. Her Specialized Breast Cancer oncologist is currently searching for a clinical trial which will target the protein causing her cancer to spread rapidly. This fund will help with the continuing medical and associated expenses Lyndsie, her husband and daughter will be facing traveling to and from the specialized Breast Cancer oncologists involved, located in Houston Texas. She may also be required to travel to clinical trials. These trial(s) are being run nationwide and the location(s) of said trial(s) which Lyndsie will have to be involved in, have yet to be determined.

At 8:40 yesterday morning Lyndsie lost her battle with Cancer. She fought the good fight and ran the race with grace and dignity. Lyndsie received her Christmas Miracle, she is in the Presence of our Lord, whole and fully restored. We celebrate the rebirth of Lyndsie as she entered into heaven. She waited until Christmas had passed and when the time came, she opened her eyes, I could see the vail had been lifted and she saw where she was going. Her breath faded away with a peace that only comes when Jesus meets you to take you home. Thank you for your prayers, words of encouragement, love and contributions. I will make one more post tomorrow when we complete the arrangements for Lyndsie's celebration of her Life Sevice.
This was taken right before Lyndsie began to deteriorate 2 weeks ago.

It is with joy I post this update. The most recent scan results indicate the Tumors on Lyndsie's brain did shrink with the Whole Brain Radiation Treatment, there is no new skin Tumors on her left breast and no new growth in the Lymph Nodes. Prayers are working!!! This is promising news!!
Lyndsie started the experimental drugs last Monday and will return to Houston the next 3 Mondays for monitoring. Then she will go once a month. After 2 months new scans will be done to determine her progress on the drugs. The drugs are causing gastrointestinal destress and nausea. Pray she will be able to eat with comfort.
We had a beautiful and special Thanksgiving. While Lyndsie tired often she was able to enjoy herself in the times she felt ok. We did a photo shoot on that Saturday and she felt strong enough to put on makeup and a wig. She was happy and beautiful. As soon as those photos become available I will post them. In the meantime this picture is Andrew, Lyndsie and Emma in the Kitchen as we all began filling our plates and eating ourselves into a "food comma". While Lyndsie couldn't eat that much the rest of us made up for it As always Thank you for the continued support Emotionally, Physically, Spiritually and Financially. This battle would be so much more challenging without your loving and caring hearts.

This is the season we are reminded to be grateful.

It has been a flurry of ups and downs the past few weeks, and I had found it difficult to write a new update. However with Thanksgiving on the horizon it was necessary for me to find the words.

It looks like hopefully Lyndsie will finally get on the drugs this coming Monday.

After the washout from the Whole Brain Radiation, Lyndsie has had to do a battery of tests the last two visits. And she will have a biopsy done on one of the infected Lymp Nodes this Monday the 28th. The delay for the drugs has been due to all the tests required for the Clinical Trial, as well as waiting on the Radiologist to determine which Lymp Node to biopsy.

Our Family sends wishes of Joy and Peace to each of you this Holiday Season with a deeply grateful heart how blessed Andrew and Lyndsie are by all the wonderful loving support. Have a beautiful and blessed Thanksgiving.
