Bringing Hunter Home
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Connie and I am writing this story to help my grandaughter's family.
At the end of May my great grandson Hunter, who is 1yr old was airlifted from our small town in Oklahoma to Dallas Childrens Medical Center in critical condition. He was put into a coma because of siezures brought on by brain damage as a result of bacterial meningitis. He has a rare condition called Neuro-Storming and can sieze at any time in reaction to any stimuli. He has made progress in the last few days, breathing on his own and beginning to wake up and be calm enough for mommy to touch him. We have high hopes but the road is long because he suffered significant brain damage and Daddy was just recently released from the hospital next door himself after being treated for tuberculosis and both mommy and daddy are in a motel by the hospital with thier other children Kaleb (4) and Jayden (3) and have no money coming in other than the kind donations people have sent to keep them there for Hunter. My grandaughter, Danielle, lost her job when she went with Hunter to Dallas.
His fight has just begun and we don't know what will happpen but we are trusting in God and the kindness of the people reading this to help them stay together until other programs kick in and that may take 2 to 3 weeks. The money would be used for lodging, food and transportation when needed. Big or small, whatever you can send would be recieved as a blessing with endless gratitude.
Thankyou all and God Bless you, Connie Craig
